Walt Disney Home Entertainment (USA) แจ้งข่าวเกี่ยวกับรายละเอียดสินค้า 4K Ultra HD และวันวางจำหน่ายสินค้าเรื่อง Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 โดยกำหนดวางในอเมริกาวันที่ 22 สิงหาคม 2017 นี้ นับเป็นครั้งแรกที่ทางค่ายนี้ผลิต Blu-ray ในรูปแบบ 4K Ultra HD ซึ่งเป็นการส่งมอบประสบการณ์ความบันเทิงภายในบ้านที่สมบูรณ์แบบ ด้วยภาพขั้นสูง high dynamic range visuals และระบบเสียงที่ให้ความสมจริงอย่าง Dolby Atmos แน่นอนว่า 4K Blu-ray จะให้ความละเอียดสูงกว่า HD ปกติถึง 4 เท่า และ HDR ที่โดดเด่นในการให้แสงที่สว่างขึ้น สีดำดูมีมิติลึกขึ้น และสีสันที่สมจริงมากกว่าที่เคย
